The Threshold for World-Changing Discoveries Has Risen

Could Einstein be the last fortunate scientist? It appears the threshold for world-changing discoveries has significantly risen. When last did we hear of people like Isaac Newton in his time? Are we impatient? Or have we practically exhausted our 'big discoveries'?

Are there so many learned super performers today that it is difficult to stand out? Or are we standing too short to make the difference?

Do we need more brainpower? Do we need a healthier mind or body? Or do we need help?

  2. Nice article there! Now if the threshold for world changing discoveries has risen, then i don't see any reaon why we need help or more brain power but rather the world needs healthier minds and body.
It is a fact that we haven't heard of people like isaac newton in this present time of which this doesn't mean we are impatient nor practically exhausted our big discoveries.
I believe We do have so many learned super talents and performers today that are finding it difficult to stand out because they may be trying to put finishing touches to their discoveries and new findings.
